Requirements: • Mechanical Engineer Degree or equivalent; • Expertise in steering systems and hydraulic installations; • Broad experience as a product development engineer in the automotive industry; • Wide manufacturing processes (stamping, casting, injection, etc.) and deep material properties knowledge; • Application of Quality tools (Risk Analysis, DFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, etc.); • Fluent in English (Written & Verbal); • International and multi-cultural experience with a global and cross-functional organization. Differential • Knowledge of truck systems, such as brakes, suspensions, non-driven axles, and applications; • 3D CAD knowledge, preferable software PTC/CREO; • Knowledge of Agile methodology; • Master's Degree or Post Graduation in a related area. Activities: • Be responsible and lead the development and installation of hydraulic steering system and components; • Provide technical solutions and design work that fulfill the business targets and requirements; • Develop and share technical competence with other development sites; • Control product cost and support budget estimation; • Develop validation plans and project timing plans; • Support Design Reviews, participate in risk analysis, root cause investigations, and DFMEA; • Play a key role in a cross-functional network; • Secure a continuous optimization of product quality and cost; • Release documentation (3D models, drawings, technical regulations, technical descriptions, product structure); • Apply Agile methodology.
