Work Now Staffing is excited to announce an opportunity for an Maintenance Technician and Process Lead with our esteemed client in Clearwater, FL.

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour

Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday, Overtime as needed

The maintenance department is responsible for the consistent output of quality product. The overall objective of this position is to ensure the plant and all machines are in full working order to support the product output.
Essential Responsibilities:

• Decrease operational costs by managing maintenance and trouble-shooting electronics support
• Overall maintenance of the facility
  • Responsible to identify parts and supplies needed for repairs and projects
  • Program PLC's
  • Use Extensive knowledge to troubleshoot electronics
  • Ability to read schematics
• Increase process efficiencies by accurately recording production from previous day and resolving issues
  • Plan and prioritize projects
  • Identify new sources for material
  • Proactively ensure all safety procedures
• Other duties and assignments as needed

Education / Certifications:

• High School Diploma, required
• Associate’s Degree in electronics,
• Military training or journeyman’s card may be considered in place of educational requirement.

Experience:

• 5- 8 Years Industrial Maintenance Experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Intrapersonal Skills - Self-motivated and able to identify, examine, and resolve issues independently from others. Hold a strong regard for guidelines, procedures and integrity.
• Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Technical — In-depth knowledge of PLC programming and electronics.
• Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Tools include: oscilliscope, meters, necessary hand and power tools. Also able to operate forklift and work platforms.
• Computers and Electronics — Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming such as Microsoft Office Business Suite, especially Excel. Must have knowledge of PLCs using Allen Bradley / GE / Emerson PLC platforms. Understanding of other PLC systems would be .
• Verbal & Written Communication Skills –This position requires intermediate skills (Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.)

• Physical Requirement: Demanding. Must have ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Employee must be able to sit, climb or balance, hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, walk, talk, and reach with hands and arms.
• Working Conditions: Conditions vary per work site: can be high heat, high humidity, exposure to electrical shock and mechanical parts, exposure to radiation, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals with fumes and/or airborne particles.
