Work Now Staffing is looking to hire Quality Control Inspectors for our Romeoville client.

Pay: $23.30 per hour

Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday, Saturday is voluntary OT when needed

Job Details:

Inspects materials received, finished products, and work in process of fabrication; Inspects processes and products to the requirements of shop orders, blueprints, quality plans, DWI's, specifications etc. to ensure conformance by performing the following duties in either Receiving Inspection or Final Inspection.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

• Must be able to identify and understand product, part numbers and quality requirements
• Reads and interprets blueprints or engineering specifications to obtain product information such as specified material, surface finish, and dimensions including conformance to the latest revision
• Measures dimensions (using a variety of inspection tools and gages) such as length, height and distance between reference points to ensure product meets specifications
• Performs various gage calibrations
• Enter product acceptance data into computer database
• May be qualified in house to perform procedures such as mass spec, dye penetrant and to interpret results
• Examines finished products for rough edges, cracks, and appearance
• Marks parts for acceptance or rejection
• Inspects material for internal defects
• Reports inspection results
• Trains other employees as required
• Must have quality experience in manufacturing
• Must be able to use micrometers and calipers
• Must be able to read a ruler
