2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Job DescriptionJob Description

2nd shift (2:45- 11:15 pm). The Production Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of all department employees and must assure compliance with all safety, quality and housekeeping standards.

Essential Functions

• Supervises all personnel and operations in the department.  
• Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.  
• Trains, upgrades, evaluate & review all dept. employees and assures adherence to current ISO procedures and safety procedures.  
• Ensures that established policy, rules and regulations, and procedures are followed.  
• Distributes plant status reports to the next shift Supervisor and Area Manager.  
• Troubleshoots problems.  
• Will perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and or/equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.  
• Three (3) years' experience in supervision in a manufacturing environment.  
• Knowledge of equipment & processes.  
• Must have good written and oral skills.  
• Ability to solve problems.  
• Ability to lead by example.  
• Must be a team player.  
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.  
• Experience with Excel, Word, & AS400.
