Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionThis position is ideal for a Manufacturing Technician to join the Research and Development team as a pilot line 3D Manufacturing Technician. Partnering with manufacturing and engineering teams, you’ll provide comprehensive processing support of medical devices. You will utilize cutting-edge equipment to 3D print and post-process these devices. This position plays a crucial role in Align Technology's Research and Development pilot line thereby driving the success of new product initiatives.
Role expectations
- Operate 3D Printing Equipment
- Operate post process and test equipment
- Ensure compliance with quality systems
- Utilize solvents and resins for part manufacturing and machine cleaning
- Maintain records, follow work instructions, and all ensure safety standards are followed
- Communicate job status and machine status
- Perform quality inspections
- Package complete jobs
- Thrive in fast-paced environment and execute with a sense of urgency
- Address issues with meticulous attention to detail
What we're looking for
- Experience as a machine operator, technician, assembler, or similar role
- PC experience in a work environment
- Experience in a 3D printing
- Experience in medical industry manufacturing
- Experience working in a high performing team
- High school diploma or equivalent, Engineering degree
- 2 - 4 years of directly related experience
- Swing shift M-F 11:30am to 8pm with occasional overtime to meet critical deadlines
