We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Professional (fmd) to join theBioPharma Team in __**Germany**** & Austria.

The successful candidateshould have an automation background with a high understanding of cell biologyand will be responsible for pre- and post-sales support for the MolecularDevices Cell line development products and automation. This product lineincludes hardware, software and reagents.Other responsibilities will include developing and nurturing referencecustomers, finding and attracting new accounts, mentoring European teammembers, supporting regional management projects as a contributor and leaderof sub-projects. The Sales Specialist will work remotely and cover thewhole of Germany and Austria.## What we’ll get you doing:** Direct Territory Deliverables, achieve monthly and annual Quota in designated territory, to identify, qualify, develop, support and close sales of the Molecular Devices system portfolio Develop and maintain accurate Territory & Account Plans while working with a high level of independency * Develop, update, expand and maintain to a high degree of accuracy and integrity, the prospect database (SalesForce.com) and existing customer list and monitor sales growth.

* Monitor competitor’s activities, products, and potential new or improved applications or product extensions and the market evolution. ## The essential requirements of the role include: Educational background in Life Sciences as Bachelor or higher Profound sales experience in Automation and Cell Biology would be an advantage as well as experience in managing customers in salesforce.com Highly motivated, dedicated and willing to learn Excellent communication skills in German and EnglishTravel, Motor Vehicle Record: Ability to travel up to 50% with overnight within territory Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordAt Molecular Devices we believe in designing a better, more sustainableworkforce.
