Our client is actively seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team our of their location in Fairfield, NJ! This individual will be hands on in providing assistance to the fianance department, while simultaneously creating innovative and effetive ways to improve reporting systems and accounting processes within the company. This is a full-time, contract opportunity with a leader in energy production on a global scale!
Job Description:
● Process journal entries (recurring, prepaid) and month end accruals incl. Inventory
transactions and Taxes.
● Responsible for transactions accuracy to the general ledger for accuracy
● Ensure appropriate classification of revenues/ costs/ expenses in conjunction with
AP and Customer Service based on Seppic CoA.
● Utilize accounting principles to analyze nancial information and ensure appropriate
accounting control procedures
● Coordinate month end agenda for Finance team
● Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement account analysis and
reconciliation on monthly and/or quarterly basis
● Participate in preparing and submitting monthly financial reporting packages for
Group (Group reporting tools)
● Act as a key member of cross-departmental teams to improve the ow of data and
reporting: AP, AR, Supply, Customer Service and Manufacturing team
● Continually seek opportunities to improve the financial reporting system and
accounting processes
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
● 4+ years of accounting and internal controls experience
● Experience in a manufacturing and supply chain environment a plus
● Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 a plus
● MBA/ CPA a plus
● Go-getter mentality with excellent problem-solving skills
● High level of motivation
Qualification Examples:
● Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement account analysis and reconciliation on
monthly and/or quarterly basis
● Participate in preparing and submitting monthly financial reporting packages

● Prepare monthly and quarterly sales and other various management reports

● Utilize accounting principles to analyze financial information and ensure appropriate
accounting control procedures
● Maintain ownership of internal controls related to accounts and processes
Support the year-end financial statement audit and interim reviews
