Acoustic Sales / Design Engineer

To meet the ever-growing demand of a Global client base, we have an exciting opportunity for an Acoustic Sales / Design Engineer to join us.



IMS are leading manufacturers of Acoustic and After Treatment Products. We can provide a solution for a wide range of industrial applications, including customised solutions to minimise specific or unusual noises & emission levels.



Working closely with various departments within the business, you will be liaising between technical staff and clients at all stages of the client’s projects, producing quotations, carrying out business development and achieving sales targets.



The candidate would ideally posses a background in mechanical and sound engineering. Experience within the Generator industry is desirable but not essential. Your work would be predominantly based at our head office in Leicestershire, but nationwide site visits would be required. Industry-recognised qualifications are desirable.



You need to be an all- rounder with the skills to work on your own initiative, able to prioritise workload and deliver to deadlines. You will have good IT and mathematical skills and be comfortable writing reports, using Excel and adapting to computer calculation software. A full driving licence is required.
