Advanced Chemical Engineer

Responsibilities: UOP advisors may remain at a site for a few days to several months for each assignment. For each start-up, advisors work with several UOP-licensed processes and a variety of individuals within and outside of UOP. The experience gained from each assignment, and the subsequent interaction with other UOP employees, provide a solid background for assessing and solving problems encountered in each situation in various locations around the world. As advisors gain experience they have opportunities to advance to positions of increased accountability within the FOS organization. Accountabilities of this position include: ·Provide field technical assistance during commercial refinery unit, (new or revamped), startups and development in commercial refinery units. ·Assist with development activities in commercial refinery units, and offer feedback and suggest improvements for UOP process designs ·Troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions with customers, performing test runs and monitoring and advising on results . ·Coordinate commissioning activities related to controls and communications networks.Key Skills and Qualifications: ·BS in Chemical Engineering or long-term solid experience in a directly applicable field ·Petrochemical, gas processing or refining industry experience within engineering ·Experience with at least one of the following UOP technologies (Catalytic Reforming, Gas Processing, Hydrocracking, Hydrotreating, FCC, Merox Treating, HF Alkylation, Paraffin Isomerization, Adsorptive Separations (Parex and Molex), Xylene Isomerization and other Aromatics processing, (Cumene and Ethyl Benzene) highly preferred ·Proficiency in written and verbal English Our Offer: ·A culture that fosters inclusion, diversity, and innovation in an international work environment ·Market specific training and ongoing personal development. ·Experienced leaders to support your professional development We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
