Job Title: Aerodynamics Operations Engineer Location: Warton or Brough – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. Salary: £45,326 + depending on skills and experience What you’ll be doing: Coordination of New Business activities including concept development, scope definition, estimates and bid support Support to the specialist teams in preparation and maintenance of Aerodynamics programmes. This will require collaboration with partner companies, Eurofighter GmbH, Flight Sciences Operations team, other engineering teams and the project teams Support to the management of on-going work through the Engineering Task Management System (ETMS) using agile principles and rolling wave planning Analysis of team performance as measured by ETMS to support identification of improvement opportunities Analysis of resource requirements based on prediction of future workload to support a smooth flow of work through the team and enable excellent schedule and cost performance Your skills and experiences: Experience of working in an engineering team Experience of working with customers, suppliers or partners on an engineering programme. This newly established role plays a crucial part in providing operational support to various Aerodynamics specialist teams working across the Typhoon, Hawk, and Tornado programmes. The scope of responsibilities within the team spans both the Brough and Warton sites, presenting a diverse and stimulating environment. As part of this team, individuals have the chance to gain comprehensive insights into the intricacies of aerodynamics work and broader project dynamics.
