Leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the Aftersales Data Analyst will gather, analyse and present data for use, primarily within the global Wireline & Flowline aftersales function. The role requires the application of tools and techniques for data analysis and data visualisation, including the use of business information tools, to assist the decision-making processes of our aftersales offerings across service, spares, rental, and training teams. The successful candidate will have a desire to demonstrate a keen eye for detail and strong time management skills, ensuring that data supplied is accurate, complete and delivered in a timely manner. The Aftersales Data Analyst will report directly to the Aftermarket Projects Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to end users.
- Monitor and audit data quality.
- Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes.
- Setup and maintain automated data processes.
- Develop and support reporting processes.
- Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content.
- Gather, understand and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Prepare reports for internal and external audiences.
- Design and carry out surveys and analyse survey data.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong numeracy skills (essential)
- Fluency in English (essential)
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline( desirable)
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Previous experience in managing and implementing data systems (desirable)
- Previous experience in the Energy industry (desirable)
