AIRPORT FACILITIES OFFICER
(National – Site Based)
Some of your duties will include:
- Understand the airport operations.
- Understand about the civil aviation safety regulations Section 139 regarding Aerodromes and the Standard Manual Part 139.
- Understand the guidelines on the maintenance of airside and land-side infrastructure;
- Understand the technical specifications, materials and methods of carrying out air-side and land-side infrastructure.
- Understand airport pavement construction and the completeness of markings, signs, and signs of air and land side facilities.
- Able to identify damage and plan/design repairs to airside and land-side facilities
- Monitor and oversee the maintenance and repair of airport buildings, runways, taxiways, and other infrastructure.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely and efficient completion of repair and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issues before they impact operations.
- Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols to minimize risks and enhance operational safety.
- Maintain up-to-date records of inspections, maintenance activities, and compliance certifications.
- Collaborate with airport operations teams to address facility-related issues that may impact airport operations
What skills and experience do you need?
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Relevant certifications in facility management or safety (e.g., CFM, OSHA) are a plus.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field, preferably within an airport or large-scale transportation environment.
- Strong knowledge of facility maintenance, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Have a personnel certificate in the field of Airport Engineering.
- Proficiency in using facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
