Job Summary
We are seeking a Security Installation Technician to join our team! As a Security Installation Technician, you will travel to various locations and job sites and accurately install or repair security systems based on customer specifications and location restrictions. This can include locks of all types, access control, CCTV, remotes, and more. The ideal candidate has experience with security installation or similar electronic products, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and an analytical way of thinking.

Responsibilities
Travel to various locations and ascertain their specific needs
Troubleshoot problems in security systems, and make repairs or replacements
Install new security systems, including electronic locks, alarms, CCTVs, and more
Maintain appropriate equipment, and restock vehicle and supplies as needed
Maintain excellent, accurate logs of work completed at all time
Experience with commercial and residential systems
Troubleshooting skills
Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong knowledge of alarm system sales and collaboration with sales and prewire team.
Proficient in using power tools and hand tools to build and install alarm systems
Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues with alarm systems
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong communication skills to interact with customers and explain technical concepts in a clear manner

Qualifications
Previous experience in the security industry field desired
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication and listening skills
Program, install, and test DSC, Honeywell, Ademco, and 2Gig Alarm Systems.
Program, install, and test Alarm.com Radios.
