Samsung Austin Semiconductor strives to be the World's Best Foundry.AFM Technician Position within the Surface Analysis Team.Role and ResponsibilitiesDaily operations for AFM analysis while opportunities to operate other surface characterization techniques will be supported. Duties will include performing analysis data acquisition and provide timely, high quality analytical reports. Work days and hours: CWW,A shift.Skills and QualificationsTwo years of college or technical school or equivalent experience.Knowledge of semiconductor processes and lab experience of at least 1-5 years.1-5 years’ experience with analysis equipment operation.Experience with AFM operation including topography and electrical data collection modes.Knowledge of other analysis techniques: SIMS, XPS, AES, XRD, SEM-EDS, EBSD, FTIR/Raman, APT.Experience with physical failure analysis, and/or electrical characterization.Experience with SEM/FIB, layer-by-layer die de-processing, knowledge of device structure.Experience with cross-section sample preparation.Familiarity with device layout software.Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint.The candidate will be required to interact with process and support .engineering groups.Excellent problem solving ability.Team work with good communication and interpersonal skills.
