Our vision is to deliver reliable, innovative, and integrated analytical solutions to enable E&I Business growth. Now, we are looking for an analytical chemist who will work in Korea Technology Center (KTC) located in Dongtan, Korea. The Analytical Chemist will work with internal customers to deliver chromatography/mass spectroscopy (MS) analysis support to address various E&I technical challenges and complex product quality issues at external customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Key responsibilities as an analytical chemist in the chromatography/MS include but not limited to Perform LC and LC/MS analysis mainly on OLED materials from raw materials to final products in various formsDevelop most effective LC and LC/MS methods for R&D product development, scale-up process development, and mass product quality management Generate accurate and precise analytical data, interpret results, and communicate with internal customers effectively and timely from R&D to manufacturing (MFG) QC teamTool trouble shooting and maintenance based on deep understanding on the instrument operation principleTechnical collaboration with people with various backgrounds such as business R&D scientists, MFG engineers, chromatography/MS analysts and other analytical technology analystsIndependent prioritization, planning, and execution of work aligned with project status and business impactAccurate documentation of experimental details and results in method transfer packages, technical reports, and presentationsParticipate in technical communication with global analytical scientists to leverage technologies and to deliver integrated solutions Continuously develop technical competence by proactively learning advanced chromatography/MS technology Willing to expand technical capability to other analytical technologies to conform team or business needs Strong commitment to safetyJOB QUALIFICATIONSMS with ≤ 2 years of work experience with academic background in Analytical Chemistry and Organic Synthesis. Academic or industry experience in OLED analysis or synthesis is a plus.Proven knowledge and record of hands-on experience in chromatography/MS technology. LC and LC/MS experience is preferred. Effective verbal and written communication in Korean and EnglishDemonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to quickly become competent in an unfamiliar technology or assignmentA highly motivated self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload under pressing situationAbility to work independently with limited supervision and in team environment with good interpersonal skillsAttention to details, good at time management, and act on commitments with sense of urgencyJoin our
