API Test Automation Engineer

Description :Key Responsibilities:· Design and develop automation scripts to test API endpoints using testautomation frameworks.· Work closely with developers and product owner, to identify and prioritize APItest cases for automation.· Execute automated tests, analyze and report results, and work with the team toresolve defects.· Participate in the review and improvement of test processes and methodologies,and provide recommendations for automation and tooling improvements.· Collaborate with the team to ensure continuous integration and deliveryprocesses are in place and functioning effectively.· Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, attend daily stand-up meetings, providefeedback, and contribute to sprint retrospectives.· Keep up to date with new testing tools, techniques, and technologies to improveoverall API quality.Requirements:· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.· 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and API test automation.· Experience with testing tools such as Postman, or equivalent.· Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript or Python.· Experience with API testing frameworks such as Rest Assured.· Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.· Experience with SDLC tools – Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Github· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.· Strong desire to learn and stay up to date with new technologies andmethodologies.Preferred:· Knowledge and experience in cloud environments, ideally Google Cloud Platform(GCP)· Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.· Experience with Oauth2, OpenID Connect for Authentication and AuthorizationOur values define the working environment we strive to create – diverse, supportive and welcoming of different views.
