APPLICATION ENGINEER

Job ResponsibilitiesSupport the laboratory management within the areas of equipment & method optimization as well as necessary QEHS activities Carry out necessary equipment calibration & maintenance and give input to the calibration & maintenance plan Maintain and develop technical competence within specific given relevant areas Perform laboratory task within various project categories Lab representative in NPD project groups Perform project related tasks by measurement / evaluation & feedback with respect to results, method and equipment / tooling Coordinate tasks with engineer colleagues and /or delegate measurement tasks to lab technicians Perform competences build up at own or other labs within own field of expertise Background & Skills Bachelor or master in Engineering or similar (Mechanical with Refrigeration specialization preferred) Perform complex task solving including method specification, data acquisition and measuring technique Good understanding of laboratory equipment and laboratory method capabilities Experience & Knowledge on HVAC products is preferred High accuracy in work / data evaluation
