Application Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for an Application Engineer to join a world-leading fibre optics connectivity company based in Herisau, Switzerland. If you enjoy travel, this is the perfect opportunity to continue to hone your expertise in hardware development and work first-hand with a fascinating international customer base. As an Application Engineer you will be an important interface between external and internal key people, including customers’ technical engineering teams and purchasing teams, as well as internal sales and development teams. You will have the chance to travel to customer sites (international travel will be up to 30%) and lead customer-specific development projects, and deliver feedback into R&D and product management which is critical in supporting the definition of future product developments. For the role of Application Engineer, we are looking for someone with: A technical degree, ideally in Electrical Engineering or Communications Engineering A previous technical hardware background (either in a development or product management capacity) Knowledge of high-frequency technology (ideal) Exceptional communication skills, with fluent language skills in English Eligibility to work and travel within Europe (EU passport) For more details or to apply, please contact Caroline Pye @ IC Resources
