We are seeking a skilled application engineer to join our team in Coon Rapids, MN. Location: Coon Rapids, MN

Wage: $72,000 - $108,000 per year, Depending on experience 

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm (some flexibility required)

Duties of the application engineer:

• Review and interpret customer specifications and sales agreements to ensure alignment with project requirements
• Provide technical direction and support to sales, management, engineering, design, manufacturing, testing, and field service teams
• Evaluate and select electrical and electronic components for control systems, switchgear, panelboards, and control panels
• Assist in developing and optimizing designs for improved performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution from concept to completion
• Support troubleshooting efforts for electrical and control system issues, both in-house and in the field
• Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance in all designs
• Assist in the development of technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and specifications
• Participate in product testing and validation to ensure reliability and functionality
• Provide customer support and technical expertise for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of systems

Requirements of the application engineer:

• 5+ years of experience designing electrical and mechanical product control systems
• 5+ years of engineering and technical leadership experience
• 2+ years of general engineering experience
