What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Ensure Compliance: Coordinate drawings with regulations, essential standards, manuals, geometric tolerances, and customer specifications.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Provide drafting support daily on various drawing types, ensuring timely communication with project architects, consultants, and external contractors.
  • Site Plans & Construction Documents: Creating detailed site plans, Construction Documents, and coordinating changes with consultants to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Material Research: Research materials as needed, that contribute to the development of each project.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Do you have a keen eye for detail and an ability to think critically and solve problems as they arise?
  • Clear Communicator: Whether on the phone, in person, or in writing, can you communicate ideas and information in a professional and articulate manner?
  • Technical Expertise: Do you have knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings?

Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited college OR 3+ years of experience working as a draftsman in an architecture or engineering firm.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must, Revit, Photoshop, and SketchUP is a big plus.
  • On-site hands-on construction experience is , but not required.
