Architect
Responsibilities :
- Planning, consulting and designing SCIF facilities based on client requirement
- Communicate conceptual designs and create/maintain project documentation before, during, and after construction
- Meet with various governing agencies to review code compliance on projects
- Manage our external design consultants through the design and construction process.
- Coordinate with internal and external Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, and telecommunications design engineers.
- Effectively communicate design standards to internal and external project partners.
- Review contractor questions and submittals to ensure compliance with design intent and design solutions
- Experience building business case studies against analysis to capture cost, schedule, performance, and risks
- Develop technology insertion roadmaps, reference architectures, and assessments
- Develop construction specifications documents based upon Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC)
- Responsible for oversight of the project design process and internal team and subcontractor management
- Ensures the specifications and codes are in compliance
- Responsible for communicating with clients and multiple disciplines throughout the timeline of the project
- Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews to approve quality of materials and work.

Requirements:
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret Clearance required, TS/SCI
Ability to Work Remote: Yes
Required Education:
- Accredited professional degree in Architecture
Required Experience:
- NCARB recognized architecture license
- 10+ years of design experience in commercial / industrial / other complex technical projects.
- 3+ years of Data Center or Mission Critical facility design experience.
- 5+ years leading sub-consultants and project teams.
- Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standards including IBC or equivalent, NFPA, & IFC.
- Experience in modular construction is desirable.
- Experience with design of US Government facilities at OCONUS locations is required.
- Experience designing projects to comply with ICD/ICS 705 accreditation requirements and Unified Facility Criteria (UFC).
- Must have design experience with SAPF /or SCIF construction
- Project management and leadership skills
- Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures, TEMPEST mitigations, sound transmission class design techniques.
- Strong technical project detailing and documentation skills
- Confident in decision making and the ability to explain processes or choices as needed
- Excellent multitasking skills and task management strategies to include managing project fees, budgets and schedules
- Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Solid working proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite.
Travel: Ability to travel 10-15% of the time to site locations, CONUS and OCONUS
