Architect/Senior Designer

• Minimum 7-10 years experience in retail / commercial/ mixed-use project
• Ability to communicate design ideas and direction clearly and effectively.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D modeling (Sketchup), Adobe Suite, Blue Beam, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to develop site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Must have knowledge in material selections & finishes, construction methods, building systems and spatial relationships of multi-level buildings.
• Incorporate applicable codes, safety standards and governmental regulations into design work.
• Ability to develop initial design concepts, produce presentation drawings and sketches, and solve complex problems under the direction of the principal.
• Understands and translates design intent into technical documents.
• Supports project phases from initial design concepts through project completion.
• Conducts product and code research and incorporates it into design documents.
• Coordinates between internal team, client, consultants, and regulatory agencies
• Reviews drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards, and implements any changes as directed.
• Conduct review (redline) of plans, section, elevations, details and graphics per design, signage, and patio criteria.
• Interface with clients, make presentations, collaborate with other disciplines.
• Ability to manage multiple project priorities effectively within schedules and budgets.
• Exhibit time management skills by completing tasks accurately and on time.
