Patrol Solutions - Armed Security Quality Control Manager 

***This is a driving position. You will be required to provide a clean driving record for the past 3 years***

Pay: 

  • Starting pay is $27.00 Per Hour with the possibility of overtime.

Shift Available:

  • Shifts are to be determined at the time of hire. 
  • Must have weekend availability.
  • Must be able to work any shift, day, swing & graveyard. 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct property patrol inspections as required by the client
  • Alarm Response
  • Shift coverage should someone call off last minute
  • Errands assigned by the Account Manager
  • Assisting with vehicle pick up and drop off from regular maintenance
  • Supervisory employee inspections
  • Reporting to the Branch Managers

Qualifications, skills, and education requirements:

  • Must possess a current BSIS Guard Card.
  • Must possess a current BSIS Baton Permit.
  • Must possess a current BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit, along with own firearm, gear & non-lethal weapons.
  • Must possess a current Pepper Spray Certification.
  • Must have 2 years of Field Supervisory Experience.
  • Must be CPR certified. 
  • Must have a valid California Driver's License with 3 years of a clean record. (Including suspension)
  • Ability to read, write, understand and carry out written orders, policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and take the initiative in completing assigned tasks.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Able to pass a drug test and background check

Security Professional Responsibilities may include:

  • Conduct foot & vehicle patrols, alone and with a partner.
  • Patrol and maintain general security of assigned property as described in Post Orders / SOP.
  • Utilize a smartphone or similar device to maintain a Daily Activity Report, and create Incident and Facility Maintenance Reports.
  • Maintain consistent performance, attendance, uniform appearance, and professional grooming.
  • Maintain professional communications with clients and colleagues.
  • Respond to emergency calls, including medical, fire, and damage to property.
  • Ability to de-escalate tense situations calmly and quickly
  • Ability to write DARs & Incident reports
  • Ability to communicate clearly with Site Supervisors, Guards, Managers & Police Officials

Schedule:

  • 12-hour Shifts
  • Swing Shifts
  • Day Shifts
  • Grave Shifts
  • Must be available on weekends

Experience:

  • Security: 3 years (Required)
  • Driving: 3 years (Required)
  • Supervisor: 2 years () 

License/Certification:

  • Guard Card (Required)
  • Baton Permit (Required)
  • Exposed Firearm Permit (Required)
  • Pepper Spray Certification (Required)
  • Driver's License (Required)
  • First Aid / CPR (Required)

Security guard tasks include maintaining an awareness of the environment and ensuring the safety of employees and visitors. As a security guard, you must also be in good physical shape since you will spend a lot of time on your feet, walking around, observing, and assessing situations. High attention to detail is required as you need to respond to emergency situations and emergency calls. Ultimately, you will be a vital link to preventing theft, damage, or injury in our organization.
