Asbestos Site Manager

Hunter Mason are seeking a dedicated Asbestos Site Manager to oversee and manage all asbestos-related activities on construction and demolition sites. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of asbestos regulations and safety guidelines, as well as effective management and communication skills.



Salary £45,000-£50,000



Responsibilities



* Ensure compliance with all asbestos regulations and guidelines on site



* Develop and implement asbestos management plans



* Conduct regular inspections to identify asbestos-containing materials



* Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure safe handling and disposal of asbestos



* Provide training and guidance to site personnel on asbestos safety protocols



* Maintain accurate records and reports of asbestos-related activities



Qualifications



* Valid Asbestos Manager Certification



* CSCS qualification



* Extensive knowledge of building and construction regulations



* Strong communication and leadership skills



* Ability to work at heights and in various construction site environments



* Attention to detail and focus on safety



* Successful candidates must hold a current approved Site Manager, Supervisor or Operative training certificate / TNA certificate, medical & face fits.



* Valid CSCS card essential.



* Required to work at locations mainly within Central and North of England, possibly sometimes outside of normal working hours, so flexibility is important. Our client base is varied, therefore, the ability to excel in all environments is essential.



Day-to-day



* Conduct regular site inspections and audits



* Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and management



* Review and update asbestos management plans and procedures



* Train and educate site personnel on safe asbestos handling practices



* Maintain and organize asbestos-related documentation and records
