Assembly Planner/ Engineer

PURPOSE: 
Under general supervision, the purpose of this role is to plan the greenfield assembly process for EV-vehicle and/or EV-battery production.
        
RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Develop assembly line layouts
•    Station level detail verifying operator interface with all equipment
•    Manage master layout showing all conveyor & tooling equipment
•    Interface with all team members for continuous improvement.
•    Attend team meetings to coordinate station requirements.
•    Ensure alignment between process documents and layout.
•    Understand material interface between operator and container.
•    Develop construction drawings for change over process.
•    On-site work environment

QUALIFICATIONS:
•    This position requires a bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, Engineering or related area or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 

•    A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in environment with a manufacturing setting, with strong emphasis on equipment and tooling projects, project management, and strong hands-on capabilities.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
•    Bid package development knowledge
•    Conveyor system design layout (AutoCAD 2D)
•    Microsoft Office skills required
•    AutoCAD experience required

PREFERRED SKILLS: 
•    NX Line Designer experience is preferred.
•    Inventor experience preferred.
•    Teamcenter/NX experience preferred
            
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
•    Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
•    Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.

FLSA STATUS/WORKING SCHEDULE:
•    Location: Stanton, TN
•    Schedule: Day Shift
•    Assignment Start: May or June 2024
•    Assignment End: 1 Year, with potential for an extension of contract
