The Opportunity This is a great opportunity for an experienced Asset Reliability Engineer to join our clients established team working with their prestigious clients based in Macclesfield. This is an important role with oversight from the Technical Operations Manager. The role is focused on providing asset responsibilities as necessary over the range of engineering & quality activities on the Macclesfield Campus. The Role We are seeking a skilled Asset Reliability Engineer with a strong background in management, direct reporting, technical and operational minded. The role will consist of working at their large pharmaceutical & biotechnology site, you will take an active role in Management of engineering related services within your specific business function. Main Duties Responsible for the development and deployment of techniques and tools to increase asset availability Manage all aspects of technical delivery and asset lifecycle management in complex engineering environments. Develop and manage operational improvements to the technical services delivery and track benefits and participate in the site energy network Drive initiatives to minimise building and asset energy consumption whilst working with support functions to develop and deploy technologies and tools to modernise the service. Utilise problem-solving techniques to investigate root-causes, analyse and implement corrective action & preventative actions Produce technical reports with the ability to provide simplicity to complex engineering issues whilst completing technical/quality assessments to understand the impact of change activities Commissioning checks to ensure the standard of change meets expectation. Accountable for Operational availability of critical plant equipment/systems, audit ready technical & quality documentation and using data to drive continuous improvement. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise (Ideally 5 years+), creative problem-solving skills, analytical mind and a collaborative spirit.
