Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Construction Superintendent to support our construction projects for multi-family communities. The ideal candidate will assist the Superintendent in managing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- This position is expected to last until August 2025, with the possibility of additional work in the future.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing daily on-site construction operations, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project managers to maintain project schedules.
- Schedule and manage construction subcontractors and inspections, working closely with city building inspectors.
- Read and interpret architectural plans to ensure project accuracy.
- Monitor progress, materials, and resources to ensure efficient workflow.
- Support in ensuring compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain clear communication with the Superintendent, providing updates on project status.
- Help manage budgets, schedules, and materials for construction phases.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction, preferably in multi-family or residential projects.
- Working knowledge of general construction activities and hands-on experience scheduling subcontractors.
- Familiarity with scheduling inspections and interacting with city building inspectors.
- Ability to read architectural plans and technical documents.
- Good communication and computer skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and quality control.
- Proficiency in project management software is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or construction management certification is .
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work on-site, including climbing ladders and navigating construction zones.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
