Assistant Design Manager - Main Contractor
Job Description
An experienced Assistant Design Manager needed to join innovative and growing design and build contractor with a Turnover of £350 Million. Delivering exceptional new build, high-rise and city-based schemes valued between £30-£80 million across London. They boast an exciting pipeline of projects over the next 5 years and require an ambitious Assistant DM coming from a docucment controller background.
Key Accountabilities:

- Support the Design Manager in creating, agreeing upon, and managing a realistic design program and information schedule, ensuring alignment with design, procurement, and construction needs.
- Manage on-site design activities, implementing robust design management procedures to ensure timely production of information, with support from site-based resources where necessary.
- Contribute to the production of comprehensive Contractors' proposals, ensuring clarity and completeness after review by the bid team, including all post-tender negotiations.
- Review design deliverables to ensure they align with budget constraints, are fully coordinated, and are feasible for construction.
- Conduct pre-construction reviews of designs to identify and address any Health and Safety concerns.
- Ensure the project team adheres to agreed-upon Contractors' proposals.
