Assistant Estimator

A groundworks and frames contractor in the UK are looking to expand their team and are seeking a swithced-on, highly ambitious Estimator. You will manage and plan resources, innovate and foster a collaborative, professional and positive working environment along with delivering an appropriate estimating role.
As the Estimator in this role, your duties will be (but not limited to) the following:
Ensuring that tenders are complete and submitted on time
Identifying client requirements and developing the best offer to meet them
Working with the designer on D&B contracts
Liaising with the commercial and the procurement department
Quantity take offs
Evaluating the programme requirements, developing methods of construction and suitable techniques to enable efficient cost-effective resource levels to win bidsWhat you will receive:

A degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
Ability to show previous experience gained in working on infrastructure projects
Great verbal and written communication skills
