Unified Residential Management is dedicated to providing an unparalleled living experience in our apartment communities. We seek an experienced and proactive Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to support our maintenance team and uphold the highest property care standards and satisfaction.

The Role
As Assistant Maintenance Supervisor, you'll assist in managing all aspects of property maintenance for our apartment community. You'll help implement preventative maintenance programs and ensure our property consistently meets the expectations of our discerning .

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and support the Maintenance Supervisor in leading the maintenance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Help implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs.
  • Coordinate and prioritize daily maintenance activities, including requests and property upkeep.
  • Assist in managing inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Collaborate with property management to address concerns and maintain satisfaction.
  • Support oversight of contractor relationships and vendor work on the property.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
  • Contribute to the budgeting process for maintenance expenses and capital improvements.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in building maintenance.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in property maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • EPA certification for HVAC work
  • Experience in luxury residential properties
  • Associate's degree in facilities management or related field a plus
