Assistant Project Manager

UDHG is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our team. The APM provides general administrative support to the Project Manager and team as needed by following up with customers for delivery schedules and submittal approvals, obtaining purchase order acknowledgments, updating purchase order logs, and assisting with creating packing slips and coordinating with the shipping/receiving department, field team or customer as required. Some duties to vary based on experience.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintains project file with key milestones and status.
  • Follows up on submittals, change orders, samples schedules and any job issues.
  • Assists in preparation and follow up on vendor purchase orders to ensure they meet the project schedule.
  • Communicates/Coordinates material to jobsite.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as required based on training and experience.

 

Qualifications Include:

  • Education/Certification
    • High School Diploma
  • Required Experience
    • Two (2) years office experience
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Competency in computer software and administrative skills
    • Organizational planning and time management skills
    • Diligence and accuracy
    • Good office etiquette
  • Patience and calmness under pressure
