Job Details:

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our team and support the successful execution of commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing either interior projects ranging from $3M to $5M or ground-up projects between $5M and $10M.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing all aspects of commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with client expectations and industry standards.
  • Participate in subcontractor selection, bid evaluation, and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor job site progress, attend project meetings, and provide detailed reports on milestones and potential risks.
  • Assist in managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation.
  • Ensure safety regulations and company policies are strictly followed on job sites.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably with a general contractor.
  • Experience managing either interior projects ($3M-$5M) or ground-up projects ($5M-$10M).
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and project management principles.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is but not required.
  • Ability to work on-site
