Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with Project Management: Support the Project Manager in the execution of project deliverables, including scope definition, proposal preparation, and project execution.
- Coordinate and Track Progress: Assist with monitoring and managing the progress of projects, including schedules, budgets, labor hours, and quality standards. Help identify issues and collaborate with team members to address them.
- Support Field Operations: Work closely with Foremen/Superintendents to plan, assign, and monitor work responsibilities for field crews. Ensure that all tasks are completed according to project timelines and standards.
- Documentation and Reporting: Assist in preparing regular project status updates for senior management. Help track project documentation, including invoices, change orders, etc.
- Resource Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to assist in sourcing and managing materials and subcontractors as required for projects.
- Safety and Quality Standards: Uphold and promote safety practices and the company’s quality standards in all aspects of project work. Assist in ensuring that safety protocols are followed on-site.
- Project Completion and Closeout: Assist in verifying the completion and completing the project turnover package. Ensure that all documentation is complete for project closeout.
- Customer and Vendor Communication: Assist in communication with subcontractors, customers, and vendors. Ensure that project expectations are met, and assist in resolving any issues that arise.
- Financial Support: Assist the finance team with invoicing, processing change orders, and managing any collections issues.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional project-related tasks as needed to support the Project Manager and the broader project team.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in project coordination or field experience in construction projects.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with other team members, subcontractors, and customers with minimal oversight.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ASME B31.3/31.1 welding procedures and industry guidelines.
- Experience in construction projects related to the Air Separation, Gas Processing, or Energy industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to support after-hours field team needs when necessary.
- U.S. work authorization required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, Smartsheet) and ERP systems.
- Experience with project management tools like PowerBI or Salesforce.
