About Us:

Established in 1992 in Middleburg, Florida, IMC Construction Group is a commercial contractor that provides federal clients—primarily various government agencies and the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD)—and private sector clients with design/build, general commercial construction and demolition services, as well as mechanical, electrical and plumbing contracting.


Role Overview:

Supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves assisting with project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, document control, and communication between stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking.
  • Coordinate subcontractor and supplier activities and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Support the management of project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and daily reports.
  • Conduct site visits and assist with inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
  • Participate in project meetings and prepare action items.
  • Identify and report potential project risks or issues to the Project Manager.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1–3 years of experience in construction or project coordination roles.
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or Bluebeam.

Capabilities:

  • Excellent organization skills with an attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.


Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed both in an office environment and at construction sites, often exposed to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions.
  • Extended use of computer, keyboard and monitors.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and requires frequent walking, standing and navigating active job sites.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and moving between office and field settings throughout the day.

Other:

  • This is an on-site position based at the company’s main office in Middleburg, FL, with regular travel required to construction sites. May require travel to construction sites located out-of-state and abroad. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen.
