Assistant Project Manager Construction

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager Construction to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Support multiple Project Managers and Projects efficiently
  • Procure, coordinate and manage subcontractors & suppliers
  • Assist with creation and management of budgets
  • Monitor material lead times & delivery dates
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedule utilizing Microsoft Project
  • Communicate effectively and maintain constant communication with Client, PM’s and Superintendents, and other team members
  • Attend progress meetings and prepare meeting minutes
  • Procure, assemble and distribute project close out documents.
  • Review, log, and monitor Submittals and Shop Drawings.
  • Prepare, log, and monitor Requests For Information (RFI's)
  • Prepare, log, and monitor Proposed Change Orders and Change Orders
  • Develop new clients and maintain existing client relationships
  • Attend meetings/functions i.e. ABC events etc. to help develop and maintain clients
  • Support and assist the PM to estimate projects and prepare bid proposals based on Company strategic business development
  • Computer Skills - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
  • Familiarity with construction management software
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to pass background check
