Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor\n\nLocation: Oxford\n\nPackage: £30,000 - £40,000 plus Car Allowance\n\nSkilled Careers are pleased to announce we have been selected to search for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a rapidly growing and very profitable, Main Contractor.\n\nDue to an impressive amount of work winning and growth, my client has an exciting opportunity within the Commercial Team.\n\nThe Company:\n\nThey are one of Europe's fastest growing Main Contractor's who are turning over £500m a year. They have seen a huge amount of growth this year while achieving amazing profit margins year after year. They currently have multiple live projects across the UK with values ranging from £20m up to £200m\n\nThe Opportunity:\n\nThe Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be working on a £20m+ Commercial New Build/ Life Science Fit-Out Project in Oxford.

You will be working as part of a strong commercial team, while reporting into the commercially leading Senior Quantity Surveyor.\n\nRole & responsibility:\n\nWork beneath a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a £20m+ Commercial New Build/ Life Science Fit-Out Project in Oxford.\n\t\nDevelop and encourage project team performance encouraging and ensuring that main contractual obligations and or strategies are executed and regularly reviewed.\n\t\nHelp the commercial team deliver the project from early procurement until completion on site later down the line.\n\nCandidate description\n\nMust have 1+ years experience in quantity surveying. (main contractor experience is ideal).\n\t\nAble to work under pressure.\n\t\nCommercial experience is essential.\n\t\nIndustrial/ Leisure/ Data Centres or Life Science is ideal.\n\t\nDegree in Quantity Surveyor/ Commercial Management is ideal\n\t\nStrong communication skills, confident in report writing and actively engaging in meetings.\n\nThe role is site based.\n\nPlease note: I have met the client face2face and have recently placed someone underneath them who is absolutely loving it.\n\nI and am confident to say that anyone would be lucky to work for this Leading Main Contractor.\n\nIf you feel you have relevant experience for the above role then please apply directly
