Assistant Site Manager
Job Description
Elvet Recruitment are recruiting an Assistant Site Manager on behalf of an established and expanding construction contractor to run projects across the North East.\n\nProjects cover a wide range of building works delivered as principal contractor including:, commercial builds, industrial builds, Residential, Healthcare, Education etc. Projects cover new build and some refurb/fit out works and are valued between £250k and £10m.\n\nDuties/Responsibilities:\n\n * Manage site team and supply chain to deliver projects to quality targets and deadlines.\n\n * Produce construction phase plans and programming works.\n\n * Co-ordination of various sub-contractors and direct delivery teams.\n\n * Progress reports and meetings with senior management and clients.\n\n * Ordering materials for site and managing supply chain.\n\n * Daily site diaries & briefings.\n\nExperience required:\n\nMust have:\n\n * Minimum 2 years experience managing construction projects covering new build & refurbishment with values of £2m+.\n\n * Qualifications: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid are essential.\n\n * Degree or HNC/HND qualified is beneficial.\n\nBeneficial:\n\n * Previous experience of working as a Site Engineer on new build & refurb schemes\n\nRemuneration:\n\nA salary of up to £45,000 (dependant upon experience) plus package.\n\nThis is a permanent position and Elvet Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf our client
