Job Title: Assistant Site Manager



Location: East Midlands, Lincolnshire, Grantham



Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Monday to Friday



Primary Industry: Construction, New Build Housing 



Salary: £40,000 - £49,000 Per annum



Benefits: Car allowance or company car, bonus scheme, private pension and healthcare



Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Driving Licence

Company Branding: A Award-Winning Housing Developer are looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a brand new development in the Lincolnshire area. Offering progression opportunities to Site Manager within 18 months due to an exciting pipeline of new sites.



Job Duties:



Assist the Site Manager in overseeing the construction site, ensuring work is carried out safely, on time, and within budget

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction workers

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Manage site logistics and resolve any issues that may arise

Monitor progress and quality of work, reporting back to the Site Manager

Assist in maintaining accurate site records and documentation



Required Qualifications:



SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)

First Aid Certification

Valid Driving Licence



Experience:



Previous experience working as an Assistant Site Manager on new build housing projects (preferably PLC housing experience)

Demonstrated experience in managing construction sites and teams



Knowledge and Skills:



Strong understanding of traditional new build housing construction methods

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

Good problem-solving skills

NHBC and technical understanding



Working Conditions:



On-site at construction locations in the East Midlands, Lincolnshire / Nottingham area

Full-time hours Monday to Friday
