
Associate Art Director [ Hybrid ]
Associate Art Director is responsible for overseeing and guiding the visual and artistic elements of a project or campaign. They work closely with Client servicing/Strategy and Creative teams, including graphic designers, copywriters, video and other professionals, to ensure that the visual aspects of a project align with the overall creative vision and objectives. Key Responsibilities: -Conceptualization: Collaborate with the Creative and Strategy team and clients to develop creative concepts and ideas for projects, retainers or campaigns. -Visual Direction: Provide artistic direction and guidance to ensure that the visual elements, including design, photography, and illustration, meet the project's goals and brand guidelines. -Team Management: Lead and manage a team of designers, assigning tasks and ensuring that work is completed on time with the KPI's met. -Creative Strategy: Develop and communicate the overall creative strategy for a project, ensuring that it aligns with the client's objectives and brand identity. -Artistic Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging creative techniques, and encourage continuous skill development within the creative team. -Storyboarding and Layout: Create storyboards, mood boards, and layouts to visually represent ideas and concepts to clients and team members. -Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, present creative concepts, and incorporate feedback into the design and creative process. -Quality Control: Review and approve all visual elements within the team to ensure they meet the highest quality standards and are consistent with the creative vision. -Project Coordination: Coordinate with other departments/teams, to ensure the successful execution of projects. -Presentation Skills: Present creative concepts and ideas to clients and stakeholders, both verbally and visually. A master's degree is a plus. -Experience: Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in a senior designer or 1 to 2 years experience as a junior art director. Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is required. -Creativity: Strong creative and artistic abilities, with a keen eye for design, layout, and visual storytelling. -Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and knowledge of industry-standard design. Animation is a plus. -Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey creative ideas and concepts effectively to clients and team members. -Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills to lead and inspire creative teams. -Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and meet the KPI -Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing creative requirements and client feedback.
