Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Attorney in Employment Litigation, you will play a central role in representing clients in employment disputes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Handling California wage-hour class action claims and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) cases from inception to resolution.
  
• Drafting and responding to discovery requests, pleadings, and motions.
  
• Preparing and arguing motions, including dispositive and procedural motions.
  
• Taking and defending depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts.
  
• Developing and executing effective litigation strategies.
  
• Managing multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
  
• Collaborating with a team of experienced attorneys while also working independently.
  

RequirementsQualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and detail-oriented attorney with a strong background in employment litigation. Candidates must have:

• 4-6 years of employment litigation experience, with a focus on California labor laws.
  
• A proven track record handling wage-hour class actions and PAGA claims.
  
• Strong proficiency in legal writing, research, and case analysis.
  
• Experience handling discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
  
• The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  
• A team-oriented approach with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  
• Active admission to the California State Bar (required).
