Our client is currently seeking an Associate Civil Engineer in Aviation to join their industry-leading aviation infrastructure team. The role can be based at numerous locations across the UK, with the flexibility of hybrid working.

They deliver projects across a wide range of sectors, including residential housing, logistics, retail, aviation, healthcare, and more. They balance form and function, addressing sustainability, materiality, cost, and constructability while incorporating cutting-edge digitalisation into their designs. About the Role:


This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career as an Associate Civil Engineer within their aviation team. Reporting to the Associate Director, you will lead and manage a design team, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality infrastructure projects. Your role will encompass everything from client interaction to producing design programmes, reports, and specifications, managing concurrent projects, and contributing to proposals and tender submissions.

Duties Include:

* Collaborating with Airfield Ground Lighting and aviation design teams.

* Interfacing with airport and contractor clients, acting as their daily point of contact.

* Producing and monitoring design programmes, reports

To be successful in this role you must:

* Have worked in a live aviation environment

* Experience in a client facing role and contractor liaison

* Airfield pavement experience

* Worked previously in a design and build environment (incl drainage)

* Chartered with 8 years+ experience
