The Opportunity
This Client has had continued growth and are looking to expand their construction engineering team as they secure new projects in the buildings and infrastructure sectors. You will join a high-performing, service-focused, and collaborative group.
Services offered cover areas such as construction staging, temporary works, logistics, plant and equipment, and virtual design and construction. This structural team collaborates closely with their in-house geotechnical and civil teams to deliver multi-disciplinary solutions to clients.
This is a position for an Associate level Engineer to join the London office. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to advance their career within a dynamic engineering consultancy.
Our Client is currently expanding and handling a growing portfolio of landmark projects.
Key Responsibilities
Leading and reviewing structural engineering analysis and design for temporary works
Designing permanent structures during the construction phase
Managing projects and work packages from start to finish, including resource management and commercial performance
Producing project deliverables such as models, drawings, and reports
Maintaining client relationships throughout the design and construction process
Developing and assessing construction sequencing proposals
Utilising tools to measure and reduce carbon impact on all projects
Conducting site inspections of designed works
Assessing existing structures
Mentoring and supporting junior staff development
Assisting with team commercial and resource planning
Contributing to business development and project acquisition efforts
Qualifications and Experience
BEng (Hons) or MEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering
At least 8 years Structural engineering experience (temporary works is ideal)
Chartered status with IStructE, ICE, or an equivalent body
