
Associate Director – Financial Planning & Reporting
We’re looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.Position Summary Associate Director, Financial Planning is responsible for leading financial planning and forecasting for the Kinsale site across all business areas (Biotech, Small Molecule, Peptides and central services).The Associate Director is a member of the Kinsale site management team, the finance leadership team and a key finance business partner for the Kinsale Site and Plant Lead Teams.ReportingThis position reports to the Associate Vice President Finance, Procurement & Supply Chain, based on site in Kinsale.Key Responsibilities:Provide leadership and direction for the Kinsale financial planning teamMentor, coach and develop team membersSupport Strategic Planning ExerciseOwn and deliver the annual financial Business Plan for the site and each area (Biotech, Small Molecule, Peptides and Central Services)With the team support / influence across the business to meet financial targetsCollaborate closely with the wider finance team to ensure timely and accurate month end closeCommunicate monthly results for Kinsale site both onsite and with Corporate colleaguesDeliver accurate Quarterly and ad-hoc financial forecastsProvide financial input to support business decision making while continuing to increase the financial acumen of business partnersResponsible for product costing for the Kinsale siteOwn inventory Internal controlsSupport both internal and external auditsManage grant claim submissionsCollaboration with broader Manufacturing OrganizationDrive process improvements across the area with a continuous improvement mindsetLead productivity/ other initiativesDrive the overall financial competitiveness of the siteBasic Requirements:Excellent communication and influencing skillsStrong analytical and organisational skillsManufacturing business knowledgeAccountancy Qualification with 10 years+ PQEPeople management experience essentialThe level of the role offered will be dependent on the level of relevant experience the successful candidate holds.
