My client, a market leading, innovative Consultancy based in the heart of Manchester, is searching for an Associate to manage and expand a new team of flood risk specialists. Hybrid working available. \n\nIt is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline and have achieved or are close to achieving Chartered status.

You will also have vast experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk, hydrology, hydraulic modelling, drainage or river engineering. \n\nFor this opportunity, applicants are also required to have the drive and determination to develop new business opportunities with new and existing clients across the North West and have experience managing projects, promoting company services and mentoring team members. \n\nThis exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to lead a new team based in Manchester.

You will be expected to manage projects, mentor and train team members and develop new business opportunities. You will be expected to check and amend technical work spanning flood risk, SuDS, hydraulic modelling, natural flood management, climate change, flood alleviation and wetland restoration schemes across the UK. \n\nYou will required to expand a new team, manage projects and check technical work.

\n\nAs an Associate you will oversee projects spanning the following; \n\n-Flood Alleviation Schemes. \n\n-Wetland Restoration and Natural Flood Risk Management. \n\n-Pollution Incidents and Nutrient Neutrality.\n\n-Drainage Strategies and designs.
