Our client is a worldwide consulting firm with a powerful reputation for their Engineering expertise. They are looking to recruit an Associate (Geotechnical Engineering) to be based in their thriving London office (which is also their central hub). Their Geotechnical teams provide industry leading designs and solutions across a wide variety of exciting building and infrastructure projects and are proud to be represented by some of the best people in the industry.



Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting geotechnical site investigations including testing, data logging and technical reporting. Also, you will need to ensure delivery of high standard geotechnical designs, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across mixed use, commercial, urban, buildings and infrastructure projects. You will be planning and managing large scale projects. This will include coordinating the preparation of cost estimates, tender submissions, technical documentation, client reports and monitoring project progress, project scheduling/resourcing, and meeting deadlines and budgets.



To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following:



Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent, with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering

Minimum 8-10years industry experience

Proven project management skills (achieving prescribed budget, timeframe and client requirements)

An understanding of the business/organisation/marketing context of business solutions.

Well-developed consulting skills

Ability to manage client relationships and expectations

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
