Growing togetherPrimary Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute performance test scenarios using JMeter, Performance Center, and other relevant toolsMonitor and analyze performance metrics using Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk, and other performance monitoring and profiling toolsUtilize scripting (Protocols) and programming skills in Java to create and maintain performance test scriptsUtilize Oracle DB, Dynatrace, and SQL to perform database tuning and optimizationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) for performance testingConduct UI, Batch, API performance testing and ensure seamless integration with the overall architectureUtilize Apache Kafka for performance testing in a distributed environmentApply performance testing methodologies and best practices to identify performance bottlenecks and suggest optimizationsCollaborate with the development team to implement performance improvements, including Shift Left TestingCommunicate test results, analysis, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise mannerStay updated with the latest trends and advancements in performance testing, cloud technologies, and architecturesComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do soRequired Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in performance testing, preferably in a software development or IT environment.Proficiency in JMeter, Performance Center, Grafana, Splunk, Java, Oracle DB, Dynatrace, scripting (Protocols), and SQLSolid knowledge of performance testing methodologies, best practices, and performance monitoring and profiling toolsFamiliarity with UI, Batch & API (JSON) testing, performance tuning, and optimization techniquesUnderstanding of architectural principles and cloud technologiesProven excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersSolid analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve performance bottlenecksFamiliarity with Shift Left Testing and Agile methodologies Preferred Qualification: Experience with ORMB, Apache Kafka, Kubernetes At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
