Job Description Qualifications:Boeing Brazil is seeking an Associate Structural Analysis Engineer with knowledge of stress analysis methods, engineering principles and coordination skills, reporting to the Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager, working out of the São José dos Campos office.The Associate Structural Analysis Engineer will join the BR&T team and will develop and provide support for the primary and secondary structure of the X-66.Position Responsibilities:Perform basic structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performanceSupport product design and verify structural integrity of parts and components by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to ensure safety, quality and performance of the productParticipate on customers and other stakeholders’ communication to understand and support structural solutions.Works under general direction.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Must have existing rights to work in BrazilMust have a degree in EngineeringProficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English LanguageMust be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA). Applicable to Brazilian, recent engineering graduates within 6 months and foreign engineers when the employer is willing visa sponsor. Relevant experience with Structures Engineering.Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):Relevant experience with structural analysis methods and tools (Hand-Calculation and Finite Element Analysis Method)Relevant experience with flight controls, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems.Relocation:-Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
