The candidate will be carrying out a mix of functions that span from internal process improvements to supporting project delivery. The successful candidate should be a people, process, tool (in that order) focused individual whose job it will be to ensure our project delivery teams adhere to common standards and the latest design delivery techniques. The candidate will also actively support project teams on proposal and project delivery tasks.To perform the Associate Technical Manager Dry Utilities (BIM) role, the individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following:To be part of Atkins Middle East delivery team.To assist in delivering a range of projects relating to infrastructure utilities design and planning.Knowledge of multidisciplinary projects to comply with the relevant CAD/BIM StandardsDevelop project deliverables, particularly drawings and reports in accordance with client scope, budget, and quality requirementsDetailing experience involving work associated with MV, LV, Street lighting, Telecom, ICT, Gravity and Pressure networks.Extensive experience of detailing Dry and Wet infrastructure utilities.Coordination with project design Engineers, BIM leads, and coordinators.Prepare Drawings (Layouts, Long Sections, Schedules, Typical drawings)Review and prepare preliminary sketches/drawings etc. as per the markup provided by the Engineers.Create, edit, and label alignments, Civil 3D parcels, and corridors.Create feature lines and surfaces.Prepare plan and profiles of utilities including the creation of pipe networks, editing, and changing parts and styles (Catch basins/Manholes Fire Hydrants, etc).Ability to adapt to different cultures and working environmentsExperience of using written and spoken English within a business environment.To support in utility Clash resolution activities (Navisworks/Civil 3D/Revit).What we’re looking forDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline10-12 years’ experience progressive modeling and design experience.10-12 years in AutoCAD Civil 3DAbility to communicate and coordinate assigned tasks with the multi-discipline teams.Knowledge of a wide variety of authoring tools (i.e. Bentley, Esri, Autodesk).Proficient in additional Autodesk BIM Software: Revit, ReCap, and InfraWorks.Skilled in ESRI ArcGIS ArcMap workflows.Experience implementing and administrating common data environments: Bentley ProjectWise, MS Teams, SharePoint, BIM360.Why choose AtkinsRéalisYour difference makes a difference.
