Audit Manager

Audit Manager required. My client is a well-established accountancy firm based in Peterborough, who are committed to excellence and innovation in everything they do. Due to recent growth and expansion, they are seeking an Audit Manager to join their friendly and welcoming team.



Audit Manager Position Overview



Manage the audit from planning to completion, including leading the team, planning the fieldwork, drafting fees, leading meetings both internal and external, identifying issues, analysing data, and presenting findings internally and to clients, being aware of deadlines.

Review the accounts prepared by the audit team

Review company tax computations prepared by the audit and accounts team

Manage, train and mentor the audit team from trainees through to the more senior members of staff

Work closely with staff members to develop audit services and client experience

Contribute to improvement of the policies and procedures



Audit Manager Position Requirements



ACA/ACCA fully qualified

Minimum of 5+ years' previous UK accountancy practice experience

Excellent knowledge of audit and accountancy software

Fantastic knowledge of FRE 102 and IFRS

Able to deliver accurate work to deadlines while under pressure

Must hold a full driving license

Excellent written and verbal communication skills



You will need experience of leading, managing, and completing audit engagements across a wide range of clients, both carrying out this work, overseeing and reporting on the work of others, and training junior staff.



Audit Manager Position Remuneration



Basic salary up to £60,000 (depending on experience)
