AutoCAD Technician - FL - On Site

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced survey CAD technicians to join the team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs professional level technical work using computerized drafting and drawing systems
• Prepares design drawing and specifications of survey, and mapping projects.
• Creates computerized drawing files and plots.
• Draws line types, arcs, curves and texts on drawings to complete intermediate level plan and profile type drawings and compiles automated drawings from field notes, sketches or other automated outputs.
• Accurately replicates dimensions, angles and other precise measurements and specifications.
• Automation of design specifications, drawings and diagrams related to plans, field surveying, construction inspection, field data collection and engineering computations, etc.
• Applies knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, geometry and computer software in performing basic engineering and survey computations.
• Platting subdivisions and everything from performing surveys for Residential Construction/Mortgage, ALTA, As-built, Boundary, Bathymetric/Hydrographic, Construction, Development, Environmental, Residential/Commercial, and Topographic Surveys

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent
• Understand legal descriptions terminology
• Act as a team player, fulfilling your own responsibilities and supporting others as needed to help the team meet deadlines and complete tasks
• 1-2 years of computerized design and drafting experience; or a relevant education or training.
• Auto CAD 3D experience .
• FEMA Elevation Certificate Experience a Plus.
